I have many revolutions for 2010. Lets start off with NOT being pregnant at all this year. I have been pregnant some time in each year since 2006, lets give my body a damn rest for while please! The next is not being such a damn bitch to Kyle (though if something goes wrong with anything about the wedding, someone will die). No more junk food and to start working out everyday! I want to fit into my wedding gown in 5 months! I am going to eat healthy, along with my girls. 2010 is the start of my life!
Christmas this year must have been the best Christmas EVER. It was so amazing and I could not ask for a better day in my life. Kyle and I both woke up around 8 ish with Madyson and went downstairs and let her go to town on her gifts. Maiya was still sleeping and I was not about to wake her up, plus shes not really into the whole gift suprising like Mady is. Mady opened her gifts along with Maiyas (without asking) and she decided to fall in love with Maiya’s gifts more than her own. She loved Maiyas glow worm more than her Dora Doll. Weird. She enjoyed that morning very much. It was the first Christmas to actually paid attention to opening presents. Kyle got a new Coffee maker so we jumped right on top of that and made some to get our day started. We both got a big present which comes on Wednesday. A Queen size bed!! We needed a new bed extremely bad. Then we got a few tiny things.
Around noon his whole family came over and we got to spend some time with them. Nothing to exciting, just the same old gathering they usually have. We opened gifts here until 1 30 when we left to head to my parents house for dinner!
We arrived at my parents house at about 2 and spent some time with them alone. Had some yummy dinner! Chica (Jess) came over and brought presents and let me tell you, The girls made me the perfect gift EVER. I absolutely LOVED it. Jess had brought both the girls to the mall to this new ceramic paint place where you can paint your own plates and such. They ended up making me cup coasters with each of their hand prints and then Mady had painted two others for me. I love them! After my parents we headed over to my brothers house for the real family gathering!
We made it there at about 5 and just had a really great time and got smothered with presents. We played the Wii, talked, fought, cried. It was enjoyable. I had a really great time and I think Kyle did to. Sipping some beers and chatting it up with my brothers. My mom loved her present from us. We had got her a picture blown up of her brother and her when they were kids riding on their horses. My moms brother died of AIDS 19 years ago so it meant a whole lot to her that we did that. She cried and I couldnt stop crying..haha. The girls loved playing with their cousins. Kaydin, Mackenzie and Lilly. It was just a very great christmas!
Cant not wait for next year to come!
So the dilemma is over. We decided to go to his mothers house, but I think I can promise that this is the last year that we are doing this. I really want to start our traditions. Its really not that bad up here but I think I am only saying that because I am sipping wine that its my job! Kyles mom thought we were going to spend the night but we are not. I want to wake up in my own bed and deal with everything at home. As for tomorrow, we are staying home until 130-ish and then its my family for the rest of the night!!!! I cant wait! Its been so long since Ive spend Christmas with them. I spent Thanksgiving with them which was extremely nice! But as for tonight. We are a few hours of being done with it and then its off to home where im sure Kyle will start playing the Wii that his mother go us! I just cant wait to start losing weight with it!
Happy Christmas Eve!!!!! Tomorrows update is sure to come way late tomorrow night! We need to find out whats going to happen throughout the day!
Girls are like phones. We love to be held, talked too but if you press the wrong button you’ll be disconnected!
There has been only one Christmas - the rest are anniversaries
WOW..Ok so Christmas is in 3 days. Kyle and I are trying to figure out what we should do on Christmas Eve. His Uncle and his Aunt are going up to his mothers house but we prefer not to see his sister but we feel bad for his Aunt (who in fact is only 2 years older than us) because she usually just sits there bored out of her mind. As for me, I want to start a Christmas Eve tradition with just him and the girls. I think it would be really fun if we did something like make cookies, open one present and then read the book “The Night Before Christmas”.
When I was little, my sisters, brother and I would always get ready for bed, watch a TV Christmas special, open ONE gift and then our mom would read “The Night Before Christmas”.On Christmas morning, we would all get up early and wake our parents up, then they would go downstairs and get their coffee ready and have us line up at the top of the steps youngest to oldest, then tell us to come down. I was always the first to see the goodies! Then every year we had a line going on whose turn it was to pass out the gifts. Then we would start youngest (me) to the oldest. My mom had given me the exact book she read to us and now I want to start that tradtion with my girls. I just hope that we can keep these tradtions alive.
There are soo many tradtions when I was a kid, that I would LOVE to share with my kids. Its something that could never die in my heart!
The snow has arrived at last. I am not thrilled about it, but I am excited that my girls can have a white christmas! Now its time to get through Christmas day with the families.
When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us
